The 'Red Lion Inn' is a friendly, family-run country Inn, set in the quiet, picturesque 'Summer Wine' village of Jackson Bridge, close to Holmfirth in the Yorkshire Pennines. The Inn is situated above the village, overlooking a row of cottages used in the series.

Having recently received 2 diamonds status, there are six well-appointed letting rooms; one single en-suite, one twin en-suite, two double, sharing a comfortable bathroom, and two double en-suite. All rooms are centrally heated, and have television, radio alarm, and tea and coffee making facilities.

The chef-led restaurant provides home-cooked food and is open between 12 - 2 every lunchtime, and 6.00 - 8.30 in the evenings. Snacks and packed lunches are also available at other times on request.

The traditional, cosy bar, has an open fire in winter, and a selection of fine cask ales, a good selection of wines, where visitors and locals alike, can relax and enjoy themselves in the warm, friendly atmosphere
