| The Swaledale Folk Musuem showcases the history of Reeth and how important lead-mining was to the area. 'Shades of Heather' is a unique studio offering rug-making courses and the chance to buy one of the masterpieces. There are a variety of comfortable hotels and guest houses with attractice cafes and tearooms. Held in late August is Reeth show, early booking of accommodation is advised as the town can get very busy towards this period. Self-catering holiday cottages and camping and caravan sites are popular retreats for the extensive array of walks in the Dales. |
